More than a brothel, Villa Tinto is a gallery of 51 cabins each occupied by a prostitute. The establishment was designed by the architectural duo Quinze & Milan and represents the experience of a modern, even futuristic brothel. From our point of view the experience is a bit out of Huxley’s Brave New World and lacks a bit of human warmth. The Villa Tinto, because of its strangeness and artistic dimension, has become a tourist attraction promoted in the Antwerp city guides.
